Initial Consultation
I will send you a detailed health questionnaire, including a 3-day food diary. This should be filled in and returned to me by mail at least 24hrs before your consultation. This gives me an overview of your health, concerns and allows me to carry out the required research before we meet. The initial consultation lasts 90 minutes, which includes time for you to discuss any concerns or specific issues you might have. Following the consultation I will prepare a nutrition programme that takes your individual concerns, tastes, budget and preferred pace into consideration.
Follow-up
A follow-up consultation 4 weeks later is recommended, to check progress and adjust the programme as necessary.
Support
Extra support is available and can be discussed during the consultation. I offer motivational support by phone or email throughout your programme, as required. I also offer mind-body techniques to assist with programme adherence.
Supplements
I never recommend supplements as a substitute for food, but there are times when they can be beneficial in a nutrition programme, if used as recommended and for a specified amount of time. Supplement recommendations are priced separately. I always try to source the best quality products from reputable companies and believe in passing the significant practitioner discounts on to my patients.
Biochemical Testing
Biochemical testing can help provide a clearer picture of how your body is functioning. I can arrange functional tests through independent laboratories at an additional cost. I will fully explain any needs or benefits of biochemical testing, and always discuss the pros and cons of any tests. However, some tests (such as cholesterol, glucose tolerance, thyroid etc.) can be carried out by your own GP on request and if required, I will provide a referral letter.
Please be assured that for ethical reasons I never take commission on supplements or biochemical testing.

Fees
Initial consultation (60-90 minutes) – £120
Follow up consultation (45 minutes) – £60
Payment is by cash or cheque at the end of the consultation or Paypal prior to appointment. Debit /credit cards cannot currently be accepted.
Cancellation Policy:
I request that 24 hours notice is given if you wish to cancel an appointment. Otherwise the full fee may be payable.
